All Age Harvest Festival Service

St Mary's Church, Thornbury

Harvest gifts will go to The Loaves and Fishes project of The Community of the Sisters of the Church on Ashley Road, Bristol.

The Sisters particularly ask for: tinned fish, meat or vegetarian items, soup, baked beans, vegetables, rice pudding, custard and tinned fruit, dried pasta or rice, cereals, long-life milk, tea bags. The Sisters also serve hot drinks to visitors so packets of biscuits would be welcome. Fresh food is not able to be used.

Please bring your gifts to St Mary’s on the morning and we will collect them in the porch. If you wish to give a monetary donation please put it in an envelope marked “Loaves and Fishes Project” and put it in the bowl at the door.

If you wish to donate but cannot get to St Mary’s Church on that Sunday, the porch will be open on Saturday 17 October at 11.00 am for an hour. Thank you!
