Murder and Surrender
5th-29th September: The Castle & gardens are open Sunday to Wednesday every week until 31st October 2021. The Castle is always closed on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays for private events.
For the month of September only, you will have exclusive access to areas that are normally closed to the public: King Edward II’s cell, where he was brutally murdered, and the Keep Garden where Berkeley Castle surrendered during the English Civil War.
