Pilning Open Flower Show
This traditional village show founded in 1895, takes place at St Peter’s School, Pilning (BS35 4JG).
Visitors can enjoy the exhibits, homemade refreshments, bumper raffle and entertaining auction of produce and donated items. Admission for adults is £1, OAPs 50p and children free. All monies raised will go to the Alveston based child bereavement charity Made a Mark.
The show’s competitions are free and open for anyone to enter with classes for; vegetables, flowers, fruit, preserves, baking, photography, flower arranging, crafts, and classes just for children. There are cash prizes, certificates, and trophies to be won.
