Olveston Parish Historical Society History Talk: Jane Duffus has compiled three books called: The Women Who Built Bristol, Volumes 1, 2 and 3. Each book contains 250 short, lively, readable profiles of extraordinary and ordinary women with links to Bristol.
In this talk, Jane will tell us about some of them. There will be copies of her books available to buy, for anyone who is interested.
All meetings take place in the Methodist Church, The Street, Olveston BS35 4DR at 7.30pm, with refreshments served before the start of the meeting.
Annual membership (for monthly evening meetings, from now to April) is £10. Visitor fee for a single meeting is £3. Both are payable on the door. Fee includes refreshments. All welcome!
