St Mary's Church, Thornbury
The last 3rd Sunday Afternoon concert before the Summer break will be held at St. Mary's Church (BS35 1HQ) on July 19th at 4.00 pm.
The performance will be given by St. Mary's own Church choir, under the direction of their choir master, Alex Hiam.
The programme will be made up of Choral pieces and individual vocal and instrumental items by choir members.
We have had wonderful support from our audiences throughout the year and we look forward to welcoming you in the Autumn, on Sunday, September 20th to hear The Thornbury Good Afternoon Choir.
Sunday afternoon concerts take place on the third Sunday in the month at 4.00pm and last approximately an hour. Light refreshments follow.
The performers are drawn from the local area and there are singers, instrumentalists, choirs and instrumental ensembles – something to suit all tastes.
Admission is free, but there is a retiring collection, with all profits going to the Music Fund of St. Mary’s Church.
