Christ The King Weekend - Music and Quiz
Christ The King Church, Thornbury
22nd and 23rd November
This year we celebrate the 100th year since the institution of the Feast of Christ the King by Pope Pius XI in 1925. All Parishioners from both Holy Cross and Christ the King are invited to come and share in the celebrations which will take place over the weekend of the 22nd and 23rd November.
On Saturday 22nd, there will be music by “Vital Signs” (Fr George’s brothers and others) with a short Quiz during the interval. The evening will start at 7.30pm (prompt) in the Main Hall at Porch House. Please bring your own drinks, table snacks will be provided.
After the 10.30am Mass at CTK on Sunday 23rd, there will be a children’s entertainer for our younger Parishioners and a glass of wine and nibbles for those young at heart. Please make a note of these events in your diary and come along if you can. We very much look forward to seeing you there, particularly those who may be new to our Parish Churches.
