St Mary’s Music
St Mary's Church, Thornbury
Our guests will be NotaBene, a small a cappella ensemble, based in Bristol. They perform a wide repertoire of music ranging from medieval part songs to arrangements of present - day pop classics. I am sure we shall find their programme enjoyable.
Sunday afternoon concerts take place on the third Sunday in the month at 4.00pm and last approximately an hour. Light refreshments follow.
The performers are drawn from the local area and there are singers, instrumentalists, choirs and instrumental ensembles – something to suit all tastes.
Admission is free, but there is a retiring collection, with all profits going to the Music Fund of St. Mary’s Church.
