Performed by Petite Pantos
60mins approximate run time
Since treading the boards of the Armstrong Hall as a kid, "everybody's favourite pantomime dame," (Metro) Mama G, has been on a quest to spread kindness around the world, telling stories about being who you want and loving who you are.
She's been a semi-finalist on Britain's Got Talent, performed her work Off-Broadway, and become a published author. Now, she's heading back to where it all began: Thornbury, with her award-winning panto The Magic Bookmark!
Panto baddie Book Worm has stolen all the books from the Panto Land Library, and it’s up to Mama G, and her new best friend, the Magic Bookmark, to prove that knowledge is power! It’s a quest to make the world a better place through the power of books, panto, and community. There’s never been a better time to boo the baddies and cheer the goodies! Kids can discover the magic of panto, and adults can wallow in nostalgia, as Mama G tries to save the day with original songs, terrible jokes, and the magic that only a panto dame can bring to the stage.
