Thornbury Art Club: Monthly Club Night
St Mary's Church Hall
This Club Night, Steve Hall will demonstrate impressionistic watercolour mark-making through creating 2 different paintings: A Landscape and an Industrial Scene.
After many years working in the building industry and Further Education, Steve turned his career towards his first love – painting, and then tutoring. For the last 30 years he has developed his own impressionistic watercolour style, influenced by such artists as Edward Seago and John Yardley. Come and see Steve at work. It should be a fascinating evening.
Part way through the demo, we will have a short break for free tea, coffee, and biscuits. This will give us an opportunity to chat with members, visitors and the artist. Come and join us to learn, socialise, and enjoy an evening of art, whether you’re just starting out or looking to refine your skills.
If you’re interested in joining the Club, our membership secretary, Pat will be on the door to give you more information, or else contact us below.
