Heritage Open Day Event
The Chantry, Thornbury
10am - 1pm
The Chantry will be opening their doors on Saturday, September 12th from 10am to 1pm, for tours of the wonderful buildings and the historic walled garden.
The tours will include a talk from one of their trustees on the history of the Chantry and the foundation of the original Community Association.
In the Buckingham Room, Thornbury & South Gloucestershire Model Railway Club will be displaying some of their setups.
Refreshments will also be available from the Slymbridge Room.
The tours and talks are free, with a small charge for the Railway displays and refreshments. All proceeds from these will go towards the upkeep of the Chantry.
