Olveston Parish Historical Society History Talk: After a short AGM, we’ll hear from David Hardwick about the cave in Alveston known as Fishmonger’s Swallet. Discover who the Fishmonger was, what kind of bones were found in the cave and how Time Team got involved.
All meetings take place in the Methodist Church, The Street, Olveston BS35 4DR at 7.30pm, with refreshments served before the start of the meeting.
Annual membership (for all monthly evening meetings, October to April) is £10. Visitor fee for a single meeting is £3. Both are payable on the door (cash or cheque only, please). Fee includes refreshments. All welcome!
