Love Thornbury: VE Day Celebration - 80th Anniversary
Thornbury High Street
10am-5pm on Thornbury High Street, followed by a beacon lighting at 9.30pm
Bring your friends and family to our 80th anniversary of VE Day celebration, in partnership with the Royal British Legion.
The event will be opened by veteran Mike Naylor and will start with a marching procession with music from Thornbury Town Band and wreath laying.
There'll also be music from Filton Town Band, soloists and the Panache Steel Band.
We’ll have military vehicles, entertainment, food and drink, local craft stalls and much more. The tea and cake stall will run 11am-4pm.
