Kids Activities: Outdoor Rockets and Parachutes

10am - 2pm
Design and build a compressed air rocket, which you will launch to see how far it travels. The Bloodhound Car uses a parachute as one of its mechanisms to slow down safely. You will explore the science of air resistance by making and testing different types of parachutes and learning about the factors that affect drag.
This session is designed to build confidence and develop skills while having fun in a supportive environment.
