Grant-Giving Programme 2025/6 - Thornbury and District League of Friends
Thornbury and District League of Friends has now celebrated FOUR very successful years of community grant awards and support. Since the closure of Thornbury Hospital at the end of 2018 we have also continued to support the Outpatients in St Mary Centre.
Examples of grant recipients to date: Jigsaw; Haven Memory Café; Krunch; Great Western Air Ambulance; Thornbury Community Permaculture Project; Thornbury in Bloom.
This year’s grant-giving programme encourages local organisations to apply for a grant towards any wellbeing or health-related project supporting our charitable aims for which our financial assistance might be needed. We welcome your interest and will consider all requests carefully.
The 2025/6 programme will operate as follows:
8 October-10 November 2025: Grant Applications to be submitted;
10 November: Last date for Grant Application submission;
14 November: Announcement of Grants awarded.
