The Ganda Boys Song and Rhythm Workshop
Hill Village Hall
If you came to Rockhampton Folk Festival this summer then a huge thank you. The proceeds are now bringing music to our local community.
It’s Black History Month so we brought Alain Rouamba to perform last week at Oldbury School and the Thornbury Memory Cafe. You might remember him from last year's festival.
Plus this week the Ganda Boys will be back. With our support they'll bring their joyous African vibe to students at Castle, Marlwood, Manorbrook, Crossways, Wickwar and Christ the King Schools.
You can join in too!
There'll be a song and rhythm workshop with the Boys on Weds 16 Oct at 7.30pm in Hill Village Hall (GL13 9EB). No experience necessary, just be ready to have fun making music. Suggested donation £5.
Then come along and enjoy the Ganda Boys in concert the following evening, supported by the Rockhampton Choir. Thurs 17 October at 7.30pm, United Reform Church, Thornbury (BS35 2BA). Suggested donation £7.
And of course, don't miss our festival next year. Put Saturday 14 June 2025 in your diary NOW!
