St Mary’s Music Third Sunday Afternoon Concert
St Mary's Church, Thornbury
We shall be entertained by NotaBene, a Bristol based a cappella group. They sing a wide variety of musical styles from medieval partsongs to modern jazz and pop settings.
I am sure this will be a really enjoyable afternoon concert, with something to suit all tastes, and we look forward to seeing you there.
Sunday afternoon concerts take place on the third Sunday in the month at 4.00pm and last approximately an hour. Light refreshments follow.
The performers are drawn from the local area and there are singers, instrumentalists, choirs and instrumental ensembles – something to suit all tastes.
Admission is free, but there is a retiring collection, with all profits going to the Music Fund of St. Mary’s Church.
