Thornbury Summer Fest
Thornbury Skate Park
Summer Fest is a family friendly event with loads of fun activities and food stalls, including a climbing wall, inflatables, graffiti, circus activities, carnival face paint and more. Thornbury Skate Competition will also be taking place, hosted by King Ramps, with pro-rider demos and workshops.
The event is free to enter but there will be a small charge for some of the Krunch run activities (other vendors may vary) and to participate in the skate comp. New for this year will be Music Fest, from 6-8pm featuring live music from local bands and artists. All welcome.
Note that as this is family event young people should be supervised by an adult. This is not a session where you drop them off and leave them with youth workers!
We have a limited number of funded tickets available for young people in school year 4 and over, who receive free school meals. The ticket will enable each young person to have a free go on some of the activities and also a free bacon roll (or something similar - vegetarian options will also be available).
The ticket must be used between 2 and 4pm. You can collect your ticket on the day from the registration desk.
NOTE THAT YOU ONLY NEED TO PREBOOK A TICKET IF YOU ARE ELIGIBLE FOR A SOUTH GLOS FUNDED PLACE. Everyone else can just come along!
