Get Hands-On with Real Engineering Challenges.
Join us in a fun, inclusive environment where you can explore engineering at your own pace. Each session features a brand-new activity, so there’s always something exciting to build and learn.
No experience needed — just curiosity!
You can book a morning session, an afternoon session, or both—and enjoy a full day of hands-on, creative exploration!
Tuesday 29th July 2025 - Making Energy
Discover the amazing ways we can generate energy using everyday items. From fruit-powered batteries to water-splitting experiments, learn how simple materials can demonstrate powerful science.
10 AM-12 Noon Powering Potatoes & other experiments:
Create a working battery using potatoes and lemons, and light up an LED.
Hydrogen is a promising clean fuel for the future—explore how electricity can be used to split water and produce hydrogen.
12.30 PM-2.30 PM Mini Wind Turbines:
Wind power is one of the cheapest and cleanest ways to produce electricity. A single wind turbine can power up to 1,500 households, typically lasts 20–30 years, and approximately 90% of its parts can be recycled. Build your own working wind turbine using simple craft materials and discover how wind energy can generate electricity.
Tuesday 19th August 2025- Bridges and Towers
Learn about structural engineering by exploring the evolution of tall buildings and their structures.
10 AM-12 Noon : Bridge Building:
Can you build a bridge that can support 1, 2, or 3 kilograms of weight? Test your design and see how much load it can bear before collapsing.
12.30 PM-2.30 PM : Design Your Own Skyscraper:
Use your creativity to design and build a towering structure—can you make one taller than yourself?
This is for children who are aged between 5 to 16 years old and receive benefits-related free school meals.
Bookings are open for the summer holidays.
