10am: Easter Holiday Fun at Old Down Country Park
Old Down Estate, Tockington

2–19 April | 10am–5pm | General Admission

Enjoy two weeks of Easter fun for the whole family. Highlights include a daily Easter Egg Hunt (10am–5pm) with a hidden Golden Egg prize each day, plus guest appearances, live shows and activities.

Activities include:
- Meet the Easter Bunny (selected dates)
- Adam Allsortz live performances
- Mad Hatter Magic Show
- Cookie decorating workshops
- Animal encounters
- Play Bus sessions on selected weekends (timed)

10am: BALPA Performing Arts Activity Days
Caedmon Complex

Our BALPA activity days run in the school holidays for children from Reception all the way through to Year 6. The days typically run from 10am – 4pm and are held at Caedmon Complex in Thornbury (next to Tesco).

The days feature performing arts including street dance, musical theatre and drama plus craft activities, fun games and a healthy but fun lunch. Beginners and experienced performers welcome. We take a maximum of 27 children per day with many experienced tutors, helpers and young volunteers to ensure the children have a fun packed day!

Thornbury Skate Park

11am-2pm

Krunch South West is local youth charity experienced in running all kinds of activities for young people. We have been running HAF provision in South Gloucestershire for 10 - 16 year olds for over two years.

We have a team of trained and friendly youth workers ready to welcome your child and help them to feel at home and offer whatever support is needed to help them engage in the activities.

Activities include: cooking, creative arts/crafts, bushcraft/forest activities, sports, table tennis etc. We also run adventurous trips such as Ninja Warrior, watersports, Airhop, Archery tag etc.

Wednesday 15th April 2026:
10am - 12noon: Indoor Rockets
Design and build a rocket using a variety of materials, which you will launch to see how far and fast it travels.

12.30pm - 2.30pm Egg Drop Parachutes
Design, create, and test a parachute to safely land an Easter egg.

Our workshops are suitable for families with children aged 5 and up.

Children under 9 years of age must be accompanied by an adult. Attendance is limited to one adult per family group.

Join us for a joyful Easter Fete as we welcome the community to experience the activities and celebrations!

We've got animals from the wonderful Kelly's Donkeys, along with games, chocolate, live music and heaps of other fun stuff!
