West Bristol Concert Band was formed in 1977 in Shirehampton, and, with the exception of Covid restrictions, has been playing ever since! Some of us have been playing with the band for years, and some have joined recently, but we all pull together to create an amazing sound, due to our amazing conductor Sue Elderfield.
This is our first concert in the Thornbury area and we are looking forward to playing for you. We aim to provide something for everyone, from classical music to film music to "I know this one" to new music written for wind bands.

There’ll be a series of sessions in early March to introduce all active supporters to the venue and explain how it will operate.
This will be for everyone who’s expressed an interest, whether it’s on an occasional basis, ad hoc, or more frequently.
