Each month, over 600 people living in and around Thornbury receive our email newsletter, letting them know what's new on MyThornbury - new competitions, new events, and new things to see and do.

The latest newsletter is below, but if you'd like to get your own copy e-mailed to you, sign up here!

Hi Everyone!

Help Thornbury get "back to business" by entering September's competition to win one of ten sets of Thornbury shopping bags and notebooks. The prizes will also include a copy of the newly updated and reprinted Thornbury map and guide. Find out more about this, plus the chance to win £50 in Thornbury vouchers on the Thornbury Chamber page.

For businesses looking to attract new local customers, there's a 25% discount on advertising through September.

This month's big event in Thornbury is a new Street Fair - roll up to enjoy rides, stalls and attractions along the pedestrianised High Street.

For more entertainment, head to The Gables for a a Super Trouper evening of favourite ABBA classics, and coffee mornings restart for local veterans and the over 60s.

While Thornbury library re-opens for browsing and Severn Valley Quilters welcomes back members, you can also enjoy new virtual experiences; find out what goes on at your local Masonic Lodge and try Art for Wellbeing.

Also this September, admire the skills of local gardeners at Stoneleigh Down and Jekka's Herbetum, and embrace the outdoors yourself on volunteer sessions at Filnore Woods and Tortworth Forest Centre, as well as a new outdoor Bootcamp.

Finally, as the schools start to re-open, sign up for a free community learning course and check out our school open days.

We're adding events to our calendar as they're announced - get in touch to let us know what you'd like to publicise.

Best wishes,

Claire
