Hi everyone,

The Easter Bunny has two theatrical treats for you this April; enter our new competition to win a night of mystery, mayhem and seaside silliness at Octopus' comedy thriller: Murder at the Margate Majestica, and there's still time to snap up tickets to JTP Theatre's heartwarming comedy: It's What Matters at The Cossham Hall at The Armstrong.

The Armstrong itself is a big part of the story this spring, reopening as a revitalised community and performance venue. Have you booked your free tea and tour session yet?

Thornbury Arts Festival returns earlier than usual this year to help celebrate its homecoming to The Armstrong, with a lively programme of comedy, music, theatre, and family entertainment.

Creativity continues beyond the festival: the Severn Vale Art Trail, now in its 20th year, is a celebration of local artists and makers across the region. It's a wonderful way to explore studios, discover new talent, and enjoy the artistic side of Thornbury and its surroundings.

With culture taking centre stage, Thornbury Town Council are entering the UK Town of Culture 2028 competition to showcase our strengths and ambitions. They've also joined forces with Thornbury Chamber of Commerce and The St Mary Centre to launch a bus campaign encouraging visitors to come and explore Thornbury.

Want to have your say on Thornbury's future? Share your news and views at Thornbury's Annual Town Meeting, and explore the importance of water to our town at the Earth Day celebration.

Our Easter feature is choc-full of family fun - don't miss the Vintage and Easter Fair or the National Brick Event and find a range of dedicated holiday activities designed to keep young minds busy, curious, and entertained.

For full event details and to plan your Easter in Thornbury, explore the MyThornbury events calendar, and if you have something to share, let us know.

Happy Easter,

Claire
