Hi Everyone,

With a roadmap out of lockdown and the vaccine rolling out, we can once again look forward to events and activities in Thornbury...

Our gardens have been sanctuaries during lockdown, so give yours a little love - enter our new competition for the chance to win a a Poppy Stake Light, thanks to Hawkins of Thornbury.

Let Thornbury's youngsters shine this month - sprinkle yours with stardust by booking them in for a free Razzamataz taster, recognise their good deeds by putting them forward for a Mayor of Thornbury’s Youth Award, and absorb local history with the winning entries of Thornbury Society's school essay competition.

It might not be a typical Mother's Day this year, but that's all the more reason to remember the special lady in your life.

Also this March, dream of sailing away with C The World's virtual cruise event, witness the launch of Tortworth Arboretum's citizen science project, and turn your rags into riches to help Christ the King School.

We'll be filling up MyThornbury's events calendar as soon as new events are pencilled in - remember to let us know what you'd like to shout about.

Best wishes,

Claire
