Bear Hunt
St Mary's C of E VA Primary School

Friends of St Mary's C of E VA Primary School invite you to join their Bear Hunt starting at the school and leading you around Thornbury High Street. This event is sponsored by many local businesses and supported by Thornbury Chamber of Commerce.

From 24th July to 14th August, hunt down the bears in windows around Thornbury and note all their names for the chance to win a £100 Thornbury voucher!

Bee a Winner on the South Gloucestershire High Street Trail

A swarm of bright and beautiful outsized bees is buzzing about South Gloucestershire’s high streets as part of a major new campaign led by the Council to support local independent traders.

To take part in the South Gloucestershire Bee Trail Challenge, all you must do is ‘collect’ the 16 individual fibreglass bees by taking a selfie with them and then entering the photos for a chance to win a weekly prize draw of £150 vouchers for each high street.

The Challenge runs until Saturday 18 September with two bees in each of the eight local high streets: Chipping Sodbury, Downend, Filton, Hanham, Kingswood, Staple Hill, Thornbury, and Yate – Station Road. School holidays are a perfect way to enrol your child on our Holiday Camp Programme where we have a host of junior activities available for all active children.

Our camps are adapted to cater for all standards of tennis from complete beginner to the next budding Andy Murray! We coach on all aspects of the game including match play, games and prizes, ensuring the main theme is always – to have fun!

Our camps are an opportunity for children to learn whilst engaging with other children in a safe and fun packed environment.

Full and half day camps are available Monday to Friday 26th July to 27th August for age groups 3-7, and 6 and over. Click below for full details.

Music With Mummy Summer Holiday Classes
St Mary's Church Hall

Our Summer Holiday, Music With Mummy classes will follow a different & exciting theme each week, such as Teddy bears birthday, animals, vehicles & favourite songs.

Our Jolly Babies will continue to learn our lovely songs, play with bubbles & use lots of our fun props.

Each class will be different & you are more than welcome to book onto as many classes as you like, classes costs £5 per child and will be held in the St.Mary's hall, Eastbury Road, Thornbury.
